Who we are
This website is run by SGS Plastering & Rendering (“SGS Plastering”, “we”), based in Findern, Derby DE65. We are responsible for the personal details you give us. You can contact us about this policy at sgsplastering22@gmail.com or on 07860 878943.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through one of our forms, we collect:
- your name
- your email address and/or phone number
- your postcode, if you give it
- the type of work and the details you write about the job
- the page you sent the form from, and the time you sent it
- your IP address, which we use only to stop spam and repeated submissions
If you phone or email us directly, we keep the details you give us in the same way.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit, give you a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out the work. We do this because you have asked us to (taking steps before entering into a contract) and because we have a legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us. We never sell your details or use them for marketing.
Where it is kept and who sees it
Enquiries are stored in our website's database and sent to our business email inbox. The companies that host the website and send our email process the details on our behalf and only as we instruct them. Nobody else sees them unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 12 months, then delete them. If you become a customer, we keep the records we need for the job, guarantees and our accounts for as long as the law requires.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we measure visits, we use a privacy-friendly analytics tool that sets no cookies and does not identify you. The coverage map loads map images from OpenStreetMap and its code from a public content network, which, like any website, see your IP address when they send them.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. Email sgsplastering22@gmail.com and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
